If you have chickens on a farm, you need a great dog to protect them! This is Jake, he keeps all the critters that want to make our chickens their dinner off the property. This is a full time job that he doesn't take lightly. He is a German Shepherd/Black Lab mix that we adopted from Craigslist when he was 10 months old. He is now 12 yrs old and we have loved him every minute : )
